Privacy policy
Hakone Day Trip collects as little as it can. There is no account to create, no newsletter to join and no form on the site that asks you for anything.
What is collected
Anonymised analytics: which pages get read, roughly where readers are, which links get clicked. I use it to work out which explanations are not landing. It is not sold, it is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not tied to a name.
GetYourGuide widgets and links
The availability widgets on this site are loaded from GetYourGuide, and they may set cookies so that a booking can be attributed to this site. If you go on to book, you do it on GetYourGuide, under their privacy policy, with the details you enter there. I never see your name, your card or your booking.
If you email [email protected], I have your message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you and no longer than it is useful. I do not add senders to any list, because there is no list.
Your choices
Block cookies in your browser settings and the site still works; the booking widgets may not. Ask me to delete an email exchange and I will. Questions go to contact, and the money side of it is set out on the affiliate disclosure page.
